Now That's Heat

Day #80
Tripometer: 9880.1 miles

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ADAM!!!

Madeleine and I went on a couple of really great hikes. On the way to Mosaic Canyon we stopped at the sand dunes and walked around there for a little while. We then went on an amazing hike through Mosaic Canyon. Parts of the hike were pretty intense but it was totally worth it. It was beautiful. All of the rain had essentially polished the rocks so they looked even more incredible. Man was that sun intense. I’ve spent days outside when the weather has been in the 90’s but this was different. After stopping for lunch we decided to go on another hike. We hiked for about another hour and then decided that we had had enough so we decided to go back to where we were staying and spend some time by the pool. On the way back we stopped and learned more about the borax mining that occurred in Death Valley in the 1800’s. Then it was on to the pool.
