Wow! What an absolutely magnificent day. I picked up Madeleine (Lesley, Sarah and Matt's mom) and we went to Death Valley, one of her favorite places to visit. Madeleine and Alan just happened to be in Vegas so us girls decided to take a little trip. I'm so glad we did. It took us a little longer than it should have to get to Death Valley but once we got there I was amazed. While all of the rain that California has gotten ruined a lot of the roads it also produced some of the most incredible wildflowers in years.
