Back To Vegas

Day #81
Tripometer: 10053.1 miles
Mile # 10000: Pharump, Nevada

So not only have I seen the southern most part of the US but now I’ve seen the lowest point in the Western Hemisphere. The Badlands in Death Valley are 282 feet below sea level. They were really something to see. The thing I liked most about Death Valley was that there were so many different terrains in one place. It was magnificent. Thank you Madeleine for sharing this with me. I had a wonderful time. On our way back to Vegas we took the scenic route and drove by Red Rock Canyon which had spectacular colors. In Vegas Madeleine and I parted ways temporarily to relax and shower. I then met up with Madeleine and her husband Alan and some of his co-workers for an incredible buffet dinner at the Bellagio. Wow…talk about a lot of good food.
