San Diego Zoo

Day #85
Tripometer: 10540.9 miles
Mile #10500: Solana Beach, California

All zoos are great because looking at animals is just a lot of fun, but the San Diego Zoo is one of a kind. I don't think I'll do a great job explaining it but the animals just seem more accessible. They are still in pens but it seemed like you could get really close to them. Second, I got to see baby pandas and baby koalas, which every zoo does not have. But probably the thing I loved most about the San Diego Zoo is that it also has a lot of really great plants all over. The weather was beautiful and I spent the entire day at the zoo and still feel like I missed something.
