Today I went to go check out a part of Dallas known as Fair Park. There are a lot of museums, a small botanical garden and a very large ferris wheel. I walked around the park for a while before going to the Women's Museum which was absolutely incredible. It looked at different roles women have in different cultures and how these roles have or haven't changed over time. One exhibit looked at how women have been portrayed in the media in the US and the effect these images have on girls and young woman. It was really well done. If you for some reason find yourself in Dallas this museum is absolutely worth seeing. The weather was beautiful so walking around the park and through the gardens was really nice.
